About Kari
Hello! My name is Kari (she/her), and I am here to support you in the process of what you're navigating, to hold space for all parts of you with curiosity, warmth, and empathy. I believe that you hold within you the wisdom and capacity for personal agency, healing, and growth. I specialize in childhood and intergenerational trauma, life transitions, helping you get unstuck, and facilitating the growth, connection, and engagement in life that you want to experience.
I utilize an integrative, anti-racist, and trauma-informed approach in my work, drawing from Person-Centered, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Somatic, and Mindful Self-Compassion techniques in my practice.
Prior to pursuing my counseling career, I worked in both administrative and direct care roles within non-profit and educational settings. I'm a parent and a partner. I thrive by moving my body in nature, and am a three-time marathoner. It is my desire to create a unique space of processing, healing, and growth for you, similar to those that have been provided for me. I would be honored to embark on this healing journey with you!
